Layered Safety Glassstratificato

Definition, principles and standards of manufacturing

Layered glass is made up of two or more layers of glass panes joined together through the interposition of EVA plastic films and are determined by UNI EN ISO 12543 1÷6 standards.

Altering the thickness of glass layers and the plastic films, different performance characteristics are obtained to satisfy any requirement. During the manufacturing process exact parameters not to mention accurate and systematic controls ensure high quality and performance that lasts in time.

If breakage occurs the glass fragments are contained due to the EVA film and does not permit them to fall thus providing safety characteristics.

Layered safety glass is identifiable by the removable label applied at the end of the manufacturing process. It guarantees authenticity, the identification and certification of the product.
